Who Are We ?
The Irish Mortgage Holders Organisation is a registered charity which operates on a not for profit basis. Our aim is to facilitate independent mortgage/debt resolution, and to offer debt advice, assistance and support to our clients, allowing them to deal with their indebtedness and to move on with their lives.
What do we do ?
We work with all lenders and main stream banks to facilitate resolution and solutions for our clients.
We have a highly qualified team of financial advisers who are dedicated to building sustainable solutions with our clients and their lenders.
Our team of advisers negotiate on our clients behalf with lenders/creditors.

Our Board
David Hall
David Hall was one of the co-founders of New Beginning in 2010. In July 2012, David and other concerned citizens established the Irish Mortgage Holders Organisation (IMHO) to help consumers tackle the increasing burden of personal debt. In addition to IMHO, David owns and runs Lifeline Ambulance Service, David founded the Make-A-Wish Foundation in 1992 and was its voluntary CEO for 10 years. David was president of the international organisation of Make-A-Wish from 1999 to 2001. David also chaired the Board of the Marie Keating Foundation from 2001 to 2011 and was a Board member of the Beaumont Hospital Foundation. David is the CEO of approved housing body iCare Housing. David is also Chairman of Inner City Helping Homeless
Over the past 8 years David has been to the forefront on a National basis in advocating on behalf of those in mortgage and personal debt. David has significant experience and success in negotiating deals with banks on behalf of debtors.
Tracy Mullan
Tracy is a Solicitor, qualified since 2001. Her background is in general practice, but she spent many years specialising in commercial property, acting for both purchasers and vendors; landlords and tenants. After volunteering with Debt Advocacy group New Beginning in 2010 she established Mullan & Associates Law Firm which was dedicated to assisting people who found themselves before the Courts because of mortgage debt. Initially, the Firm dealt almost exclusively with individuals whose homes were being repossessed by the banks. In 2012 she helped to establish the IMHO with David Hall and other concerned citizens. Tracy has first-hand experience of helping people who are having difficulties with their mortgage and with dealing directly with the banks to find a solution. Mullan & Associates provides a full legal service. It has a department dedicated specifically to dealing with people who are in difficulty with their mortgage. The Firm also provides a full suite of legal services, including litigation (both commercial and general), conveyancing, landlord & tenant, wills & probate. Tracy is a Director of IMHO.
John Hogan
John Hogan is operations manager at Lloyds Insurance, he has also been active in business consulting for over 30 years for a range of domestic and international clients.
John has consulted with the EU Commission, the World Bank Group, the Central Bank of Ireland, USAID and the Financial Services Authority in the UK.
John has also served on the Citizens Information Board for almost ten years. In 2015 John became a member of the Contracts Awards Committee of Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.
In Oct 2018 John was nominated as trustee by the Charities Regulator to the Animal Heaven Animal Rescue charity to address governance issues.
Dr. Constantin Gurdgiev
Constantin Gurdgiev teaches investments, impact finance, corporate finance, and risk and VUCA analysis at the North-eastern University (Boston, USA), Trinity Business School, Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and the Presidio Graduate School (San Francisco, USA). His expertise and academic research are concentrated in the fields of investment markets, geopolitical and macroeconomic risk, uncertainty, and complexity analysis, and Environmental, Social and Governance impact finance.
Professor Gurdgiev advises a range of institutional and professional investors through his consulting practice, www.macroview.eu.
In the past, Professor Gurdgiev served as Associate Professor of Finance with Middlebury College (USA), Head of Macroeconomics with the Institute for Business Value, IBM (USA), and Director of Research with NCB Stockbrokers, Ltd (Ireland).
He splits his working and personal life between Ireland and California and is an avid mountaineer, fly fisherman and forager in his free time.
Arthur Mullan
Arthur is a qualified solicitor and partner with Mullan & Associates and an accredited mediator. He is currently company secretary for the Irish Mortgage Holders Organisation.
Arthur represented both Plaintiffs in the two largest actions ever to come before the Irish Courts. The Promissory Notes cases (challenge to the constitutionality of the manner in which the Irish Government gave promissory notes with a value in excess of €31m to Anglo Irish Bank and other Irish institutions). The cases were taken by David Hall and TD Joan Collins.

Voluntary Assistance Scheme
The Voluntary Assistance Scheme is the pro bono scheme of the Bar Council of Ireland. It is ordinarily made available directly from barristers to charities and civic society groups.
For appropriate situations the Voluntary Assistance Scheme provides barristers for clients of the Irish Mortgage Holders Organisation for relevant legal issues.
